The Best Way to Search Edmonton Homes For Sale
Prime Edmonton Real Estate - There are usually between 3000 to 10000 Edmonton homes for sale at any given time, making it very difficult to look through all of them before buying. I have people who have visited my website over 100 times and looked at over 10000 possible properties. Now do you think that their search criteria has been done well? Nope!
Having a good home search engine that shows you exactly the types of property will help you to see only homes in areas that you are interested. There are plenty of different types out there, but make search they provide good information and lots of large home photos as well. But who wants to spend hours at a time looking at a bunch of homes for sale that do not fit what they are looking for? Here are 3 simple ways to help narrow your search.
One way to narrow your search is by location. This can be by city, section of city, or even all the way down to by community. Not specific enough? You can even contact me directly and ask for exact areas within a community and I can custom create a search area for you. Easy peasy!
Another way that you can narrow down your home search results is by price. Realistically you are not going to find a brand new 3 bedroom house for sale for under $200000, so why include that price in your possibilities? A good idea would be to go up or down in your fixed price range by 10%, this helps to make sure that you don't miss anything while getting a better perspective on what else is in the market near your price range and if it is worth it for you to go up or down in price.
The third thing you can do to narrow your home search results is by to make sure to have your minimum number of bedrooms and bathrooms that you require included. Sounds simple, but you would be surprised how many people don't include this in their search criteria. They then become disappointed when they view the property because they like the home but can't buy it because of a bedroom or bathroom issue. HINT: on most search portals, the # of beds and baths are total - meaning they include whatever is in the basement as well. So make sure that you double check where the beds & baths are located in the house as well!
Once you have these 3 things set up, you can be flexible with some of the other features, floor plans, and extras that a home may have before you make a decision to buy. Ultimately the best way to search Edmonton homes for sale is with a real estate agent who you can trust!
