Prime Edmonton Real Estate -There’s a change in the air as Edmonton moves into spring. As the snow melts and the sun starts to come out, many Edmontonians are spending more and more time outside. There are lots of great things to do in Edmonton come springtime, both out in the city and around the house. We’ll take a look at some of the best ways to transition into warmer weather, and take advantage of improved forecasts.

A good way to get started into spring is spring-cleaning. Getting your house in shape isn’t always the most inviting task, but it’s good to get things in order before the warm weather really gets going. Now that the snow is melting, be sure to clean off front steps and doormats. Use the above-zero weather as a chance to get your

Prime Edmonton Real Estate - As an Edmonton Realtor and self proclaimed foodie, I have a) eaten at a lot of restaurants closing and celebrating a deal with clients, and b) seen quite a change in the Edmonton restaurant scene. Once thought of as nothing particularly special, Edmonton’s food scene has really come into its own! Alberta may be famous for its beef, but there’s a whole host of diverse restaurants to be found in the Capital City that serve a lot more than just steak. Whether you’re looking for Mexican, Italian, or something completely different, Edmonton has got you covered.

The internet is a vast resource for home buyers to get real estate information ....and misinformation. There is no exception when it comes to home buying websites. There are great informative sites (like www.primeedmontonrealestate.com) that will provide great information on communities, property and ownership types, financing and inspection tips, and more. But there are also websites out there strictly created to 'sell' you on something. Knowing which sites are best for your time and energy will help you learn a lot!

I am a big fan of sites that are low on pop ups and sales pitches and high on good, solid information. And I would like to think that my resource on this site is a solid source for those looking to buy or sell an Edmonton home.

Prime Edmonton Real Estate - There’s a special something in the air as the city of Edmonton rebrands itself as a 'Capital City'  - something difficult to define in the strictest sense. You can feel it when you walk through the diverse neighborhoods, around the university campuses, down streets both historic and developing. It’s an awareness of growth, of new ideas. It’s the sensation that this is a place where the young and young-at-heart can flourish.

Edmonton, more than anything else, is a city on the rise. The past decade has seen an explosion of small businesses and innovation, the product of a populace unafraid to take chances and create change. Edmontonian artists find success in bold new creations, state-of-the-art facilities are springing up

Prime Edmonton Real Estate - The Realtors Association of Edmonton (RAE) recently released the Edmonton real estate sales report for the month of February. This data from the report shows that Edmonton home buyers paid about the same for a home this February compared to last February, but condo and duplex buyers paid more than February of 2014. There are many theories about why this is occurring, with the most obvious reason being the recent change in oil prices and the Alberta Government's change in tone when discussing the economy. Perception is everything, and right now the perception is that Alberta might not be the economic powerhouse that it was 12 months ago. However, with oil prices stabilizing and even rising slightly, it appears that the

The phrase “Life is better in Beaumont” is the town’s current slogan.  Those who live there believe that it is more than a slogan, that it is a fact. And the proof is in the numbers: Beaumont has had a huge migration of young families looking to experience the "Beaumont way of life" over the past 10 years. So what exactly is it that makes life better in Beaumont, Alberta?

Here's only a few of many reasons why people prefer Beaumont:

  • Location: Only a 7 minute drive to south Edmonton and the brand new Walmart/shopping centre on Ellerslie. 8 minutes to get on the Anthony Henday, 10 minutes to Nisku/the QE-2, and 15 minutes to the Airport!
  • Safety : With extremely low crime rates, Beaumont is a place where residents still feel safe allowing their
